Brochure: Radio-Guided Lumbar Punctures
Scoliotic deformities and orthopedic interventions can make injections via lumbar puncture difficult. This brochure was developed by an experienced cross-functional team at the Hospital Raymond-Poincaré in France. The intention is to share this guideline and best practice for radio-guided lumbar punctures in complex spines. The brochure should only be regarded as a supplement to local guidelines. The assessment and final decision for an individual patient is the responsibility of the treating physician. Please refer to your local guidelines when evaluating the most appropriate medical practices.
